This group is open to people continuing in the art journaling class of winter/ spring- as well as new students.
In this expressive arts class, students will experience the freedom and joy of the creative process. Students can experiment with many art forms and learn to strengthen their intuition through self expression. Through a guided process, students will experiment and play with a variety of art mediums and materials: watercolor, pens, collage papers, paints and much more.
This class offers students the chance to go further into art and reflection and play - practicing “creative self-care”.

Jessica Bladd, Artist & Teacher
Jessica received a degree in Art Education from Plymouth State University. She has taught elementary school art in both Groton and Lexington, MA. She has also spent many summers teaching arts and crafts in various day camps. As an artist, Jessica has always enjoyed experimenting with all mediums, printmaking, ceramics, drawing, painting and mixed media. She enjoys teaching and encouraging students of all ages to express themselves freely. She believes that art is more than being able to draw well, and prides herself on creating a caring, supportive classroom environment where students can experiment with various mediums, feel successful and enjoy themselves!
