AUG 12-16 ART IS SWEET

1:00- 4:00 Grades 1-3

In this camp, we will create a variety of delicious looking treats while getting to work with a variety of materials.

Create with clay, painting, experiment with mixed media and bedazzle with fun details. You will leave with a fun variety of crafts so sweet you can almost taste them! Also- Enjoy decorating a real treat on the last day of camp.

If registering siblings for the same camp, you can add quantity (2) and list both names in “student name” .

If registering different kids for different camps, please submit separate registrations. Thank you!

If programs are SOLD OUT, do go on the waitlist! Summer plans change a lot, so slots may open.

REFUND POLICY FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS: Full payment is expected upon time of booking.

Summer Program Refunds are allowed (full refund) up until May 30. After May 30st, 50% refund. After June 15, no refunds will be issued. Extenuating circumstances wil be reviewed on a case by case basis. Thank you!

Rachel Benson

Rachel Benson is a fiber artist working primarily with needle felting and other media to create whimsical images of nature, both realistic and abstract. Rachel studied Fine Arts and Technical Theater in college and is currently a freelance artist and art teacher. She shares her love of art through teaching, commissions, and selling her work at craft fairs and galleries. She is currently represented by Fruitlands Museum Store, Periwinkle Glassworks and the Hollis Art Space. She has been teaching art classes for the last 7 years in her own private business, The Fiber Web along with the following venues: Fivesparks, Wild Salamander, Maker Farm, Colorful and Periwinkle Glassworks, along with workshops at many public libraries and community centers. She is passionate about creating and encouraging students to experiment, play, invent, and focus on the journey of art making rather than the final outcome.
